In a nutshell, the Metered Balance is for services that we as a platform get charged for from the provider.

We have native integrations with 'ZeroBounce' and 'Twilio' and we get billed as these services are used.

So, if you use the 'Email Validation' service or 'Phone Calls/SMS', then those service charges come off of your metered balance, and a metered balance must be present inside your account to use those services.
