The sixth step of onboarding with Uptics is to add a phone number into the system and record a voicemail message.

Add a Phone Number

Uptics uses a native Twilio Integration for Voice Calling and SMS Sending. You can set up a Twilio Phone Number by clicking the 'Add a Phone Number' button and following the on-screen instructions to choose a number that is suitable for you.

With a Twilio Number in your account you will be able to make and receive phone calls and voicemails, as well as send and receive SMS messages. You will also have the option to record your phone calls if you'd like.

You also have the ability to add a personal mobile number, to not incur any charges within our system, but this is limited to Outbound Calling (no Inbound Calling and SMS functionality).

Once you begin making calls, you can use the Power Dialer to easily fly through a list of contacts you want to dial. Proceed to your Phone & SMS Settings to fine-tune your Phone Numbers, Power Dialer, Call Outcomes, and Default Country Code preferences.

Record your Voicemail Message

You can also set up your voicemail on the second sub-step of this section of the onboarding. After you have purchased a Twilio Number, simply follow the on-screen prompts to record and listen to your voicemail.
