Selecting a Goal

In the AB Test Automation setup, it's crucial (and required) to select a goal to let the AI know what you're striving for in each test.

Uptics provides the following goal options to choose from:

  1. More Opens: This goal focuses on increasing the number of recipients who open your emails.

Note: In order to utilize the 'More Opens' goal for a particular sequence, you must have the 'Track Email Opens' setting enabled under the Sequence Sending Options.

  2. More Clicks: Choose this goal to drive higher click-through rates by encouraging recipients to engage with your email content.

Note: In order to utilize the 'More Clicks' goal for a particular sequence, you must have the 'Track Link Clicks' setting enabled under the Sequence Sending Options.

  3. More Replies: Opt for this goal if your aim is to generate more responses or replies from your recipients.

  4. More Interested: This goal prioritizes identifying recipients who show genuine interest in your emails or offerings.

Note: In order to utilize the 'More Interested' goal for a particular sequence, you must have the 'AI reply sentiment analysis' setting enabled under the Sequence Automation Options.

  5. Less Unsubscribes: Select this goal to reduce the number of recipients unsubscribing from your emails.

Note: In order to utilize the 'Less Unsubscribes' goal for a particular sequence, you must have the 'AI reply sentiment analysis' setting enabled under the Sequence Automation Options.

Understanding the AI Adjustment Process

After enabling AB Test Automation and selecting a goal, the AI starts monitoring the performance of your A/B variations and uses statistical analysis methods to favor an A/B variation if there's a confidence level that one variation is performing better than the other.

If the confidence grows, we'll continue to favor the variation producing better results.

Conversely, if the confidence decreases, we will adjust the sending ratio backward.

If there's no confidence, the A/B setting will remain at 50/50.

If there's almost certain confidence, the A/B setting will adjust to 100% on the variation that is producing better results.

This adjustment process is ongoing, ensuring that you're always sending the most effective variation to your recipients.
