How to read the results from the AI Writing Assistant

When you receive the analytics from the AI Writing Assistant, each of the metrics is color-coded to help you quickly understand your results:

  1. Green - Good: If the Writing Assistant assigns a green color status to your writing, it means that your message is well-written and meets most of the success criteria.

  2. Yellow - Mediocre: If your writing receives a yellow color status, it means that your message is mediocre and could benefit from some improvement.

  3. Red - Needs Improvement: If your writing receives a red color status, it means that your message needs significant improvement.

It's important to view the color status as holistic feedback on all aspects of your writing and not just a reflection of spelling and grammar issues.

By taking into consideration the assessments from the AI Writing Assistant, you can improve your writing and create more effective messages for your intended audience using the Cold to Gold AI Writing Tools that Uptics has available for use.

Let's take a look at, and define, the various parameters that the AI Writing Assistant takes into consideration when analyzing your writing:

  1. Subject line: The subject line of your message is the first thing that your reader sees, so it's important to make it stand out. The Cold to Gold Writing Assistant will analyze your subject line word count to ensure that it's not too long.

  2. Words and characters: The tool analyzes the word count and character count of your message to ensure that it's within a reasonable range. It's important to keep your message concise and to the point, while still conveying all the necessary information.

  3. Sentences and paragraphs: The Cold to Gold Writing Assistant analyzes the structure of your message, analyzing the length of your sentences and paragraphs.

  4. Grade level: The tool analyzes the reading level of your message, ensuring that it's appropriate for your audience.

  5. Reading time: The tool measures the estimated amount of time it will take the recipient to read and digest the content of the email you have composed.

  6. Positivity: The Cold to Gold Writing Assistant looks at and analyzes the tone and positivity of your message.

  7. Actionable: The tool analyzes the call-to-action (CTA) of your message, ensuring that it's clear and actionable.

  8. You/me ratio: The tool analyzes the use of first-person pronouns (I, we) versus second-person pronouns (you). It ensures that the focus of the message is on the reader, not the writer.

  9. Duplicate words: The Cold to Gold Writing Assistant will analyze your message for repeated words, suggesting synonyms or alternatives to keep your message fresh.

  10. Power words: The tool suggests the use of certain “power words” that can help grab the reader's attention and make your message more compelling.

  11. Spam words: Finally, the Cold to Gold Writing Assistant ensures that your message doesn't contain any spammy or overly salesy language that could result in it being flagged as spam.

By taking all of these various parameters into account, the AI Writing Assistant creates an insightful assessment and provides a Total Score at the bottom, showing you how effective your writing is for the specific context.
