The Email Finder step inside the sequence builder allows you to bulk search for the email addresses of your prospects. This replaces the need for individual email finder lookups inside the LookUp product.
If you utilize the Email Finder step inside a sequence, Uptics will utilize the data you have for each contact to perform a search and attempt to find the email address for any prospect who enters the sequence.
How to add the Email Finder step inside a Sequence
When inside the sequence builder, simply add the Email Finder step, as shown below, into your sequence!
If the search comes back and finds an email address, once your prospects enter the sequence and hit the Email Finder step, Uptics will save it inside the Email Address property field for each respective contact.
How does the Email Finder work, and what other data is needed?
In order for the Bulk Email Finder to work, a few properties are needed with respect to the Contact for the search to be conducted:
First and Last Name of the Person (Contact Record)
Domain (Associated Company Record Property), Company Website (Contact Record Property), or Company Name (Contact Record Property)
Below is the logic that occurs in the background when each prospect enters the Email Finder step inside the sequence.
Uptics will begin the search using the prospect's first name and last name property values.
If these values are not present, the contact will stop there in the sequence since the search cannot be conducted
Once it is confirmed the name fields are present, the system will determine whether to conduct the search using the domain or company name.
If there is a company record associated to the person's contact record, then the search will use the domain field value associated to that company record. If multiple companies are associated to a contact, it will utilize the first company in the list.
If there is no company record associated with the person's contact record, then the search will use the company website field value associated to the person's contact record. Note: This will be the most common path this will follow, so if you are looking to use the Email Finder Step, it is ideal to have the first and last name of the contact plus the company website field inside the Contact Record.
If there is no company website field associated with the person's contact record, then the search will use the company name field value associated to the person's contact record.
If there is no company associated to the person's contact record, AND there is no company website or company name field inside the person's contact record, the contact will stop there in the sequence since the search cannot be conducted.
Once the domain or company name is identified, Uptics will conduct the Email Finder search.
If the search returns an email address, Uptics will fill it into the email address field associated to the person's contact record.
If the search does not return an email address, the email address field will be left blank.
Can I use the Bulk Email Finder elsewhere besides in a sequence?
