What is the Sales Inbox?

Steps to view your tasks and signals in the Sales Inbox

The Sales Inbox is the one-stop-shop for all of the tasks you need to complete in Uptics, as well as to get insight into the signals your prospects are giving.

For a quick walkthrough of the Sales Inbox, please check out the video below.

Tasks Tab

The following items will appear as a task inside of your Sales Inbox:

  • Any manually created task that is assigned to you

  • Any automated task (from a Sequence or Zapier) that is assigned to you

  • Email Replies

  • Missed Phone Calls

  • Voicemails

  • Inbound SMS Messages

  • Events

Uptics views an email reply, a missed call, a voicemail, and an inbound SMS message as a task, so these will all show up in the Tasks tab in addition to any manual or automated tasks that are created in your account. As far as the tasks go, this will include any task type, whether it be To-Do Tasks, Call Tasks, Email Tasks, SMS Tasks, LinkedIn Tasks, Intro Lyne, or Events.

To cross a task off, you simply need to hover over the Task Icon and select the green checkmark that appears. Furthermore, you can always click anywhere else on the Task Row to open up the Contact's Detail Page.

On the Tasks tab, there is the ability to filter your tasks with the following static filters across the top of the screen:

  • Status (Due or Complete)

  • Timeline (Current or Future)

  • Type (everything mentioned above)

  • Name (Contact Name)

  • Description (Task Description or Inbound Response)

  • Date (Task Due Date)

When using the filters across the top of the screen, you also have the ability to save a filter and create a Sales Inbox SmartList for easy access in the future.

Finally, there is a power dialer feature on the Sales Inbox for you to easily bust through and Phone Call tasks you need to complete.

Signals Tab

The Signals tab lets you view any Inbound Calls, Email Opens, Email Clicks, and Email Unsubscribes. This is helpful because those actions provide you "signals" of engagement from your prospects, which can help you make decisions on future outreach with the prospects.

On the Signals tab, there is the ability to filter your signals with the following static filters across the top of the screen:

  • Type (Inbound Calls, Email Opens, Email Clicks, and Email Unsubscribes)

  • Name (Contact Name)

  • Date (Activity Date)

To access the Contact's Details Page, simply click on the row of the signal and this will open up the popout for you.

Finally, as with the Task Inbox, you may also save any filters you create as a Signals SmartList for easy access in the future.
