Uptics now has the functionality to allow a recipient to opt-out of an SMS subscription. The recipient will have the ability to reply 'STOP' to opt-out of receiving an SMS.
You can choose to include a STOP statement to unsubscribe in the SMS you are sending out to prospects from the platform with the help of a single toggle option. This will allow your prospects the option to "opt-out" of future automated SMS sequences that the prospect may be enrolled in.
Below you will find the necessary steps to be taken to include this statement in your SMS. This setting is available at two places at the global settings as well as at a sequence level.
To include a Stop statement to unsubscribe from your prospecting SMS:
While logged into app.uptics.io, proceed to the 'Profile' tab on the bottom left-hand side of the screen and click Settings > Email & Phone, ensure the tab along the top is set to Email & Phone, and proceed to the right-hand side of the screen under Phone & SMS Settings and click the toggle under the ‘SMS Unsubscribe' header.
Turning on this toggle will automatically include a STOP statement at the bottom of any SMS sent from app.uptics.io, allowing prospects to opt-out of future SMS sent out.
At a sequence level, you can include the unsubscribe option under your respective sequence 'Settings' by turning 'ON' the toggle option as shown below.
Note: At present, the unsubscribe link is not customizable.
