Dashboards are a visual display of all of your data. It allows you the ability to choose which data you want to see and whether you want to include charts or graphs to visualize the numbers. It is a type of a graphical user interface which provides at-a-glance views of key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to a particular objective or business process. It is a "progress report" and can be considered a form of data visualization.
It is a business intelligence reporting tool that aggregate and display critical metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) in a single screen, enabling you to monitor and examine business performance at a glance.
Under Reporting you can make custom dashboards (which can contain views of multiple reports that are created), to view this information!
You can now view all your created dashboards under the 'Dashboards' sub-tab - 'All Dashboards' option or view smartlist specific reports under each smartlist for example Public Dashboards, Private Dashboards. You can view all the dashboards created by you under the option 'Created by me' and the ones created by others under the option 'Created by others' under the 'Dashboards' sub-tab.
You also have the option to add filters to further narrow down your created dashboards. To filter dashboards, when under 'All Dashboards', select the type of filter you would like from the given options Name, Creator, Access, Visibility. You can also save a particular dashboard as a smartlist or create a new smartlist. To do so, click the 'Save' option and select 'Save Smartlist' or '+Create New Smartlist' from the dropdown depending on your requirement. You can edit, delete or view any dashboard by clicking on the Edit, Delete and View icons to the right of the dashboard under the 'Action' column as shown in the below screenshot.
