The way 'Deals' work. If you proceed to send an email or text from the deals popout, it will send to the contacts that are associated to the deal (since deals do not have the system properties for contact information and such...i.e. there is no phone number or email field for deals). In this case, the activities will show under both the respective Deal Popout and Contact Popout.
Example: If you are creating an email or SMS, it is going to default to send to the contacts that are associated to the deal, and in that instance, will show up in both the Contact and the Deal Details popout under History.
If you perform an action within the contact, it will show up on the deal, that is how the logic is currently set up. There are a lot of different scenarios and the logic the way it is at present is how we sought it best to be.
