In a nutshell, the Metered Balance is for services that we as a platform get charged for from the provider.
We have native a integration with 'Twilio' and we get billed as these services are used.
So, if you use the 'Phone Calls/SMS', then those service charges come off of your metered balance, and a metered balance must be present inside your account to use those services.
When you add a phone number to your account, please note, auto-recharge is required in order to ensure any fees incurred can be covered.
