WarmUp is a product inside of Uptics that automates the process of gradually increasing the volume of emails sent, in order to build a positive reputation and improve deliverability.
When you connect an inbox inside of Uptics and turn on WarmUp, it is important to be patient if you want to do it right and avoid landing in spam.
Your connected Inboxes will be ready, per system recommendation, once the WarmUp circle is green instead of orange. Please note, we do have very conservative calculations set for determining this at the moment.
The parameters that are needed for the system to make the recommendation that each inbox is ready to begin sending are as followed:
1) Over 2500-3000 WarmUp sends
2) Less than 2% spam rate (Saved Emails over Total Emails Sent)
3) Inbox has been connected and warming up for over 30 days inside of Uptics
Furthermore, if you click into the inbox in question, you will see more specific daily stats, as well as the recommendation from Uptics that the inbox is ready to begin sending from.
Also, Uptics will send an email to the address you use to log in, letting you know when any inboxes connected under your user account are ready per the above parameters.
If you'd like it to warm up faster, when you are inside of the inbox settings as shown above, you may click on Advanced Settings, and turn on the toggle to WarmUp faster. This setting, however, is only recommended if the inbox you are connecting to Uptics has previous sending history. For brand-new inboxes, it would be advised not to turn on the setting to warm up faster.
As is the case with most things, there is not an objective answer on if a particular inbox is ready to begin sending from, and it is important that when you do being sending, you start out small and scale up your sends incrementally.
Can I start sending before Uptics says my inbox is ready?
If you toggle the stats filter to the previous 7 days (instead of all time), and take a look at the number of 'Saved Emails' divided by 'Sent Emails', if that is less than 2% over the previous 7 days you may be ready to start sending a lower volume of emails while the overall conditions mentioned previosuly are still being met.
Long story short, if your Saved Emails/Sent Emails is less than 2%, and your inbox has been connected for at least 3-4 weeks, you are good to start sending LOW volumes. We would suggest, but this is completely up to you, waiting to fully send out and scale up your sending until the circle is green!
We would recommend easing into sending volume starting with 10 emails per day per inbox to start, and working up to 50 emails per inbox per day as our max recommendation, or you'll risk burning the domain.
It's up to you if you send more than that. If you go up to 450 emails sent per inbox per day, and you're using it for cold outreach, you'll have deliverability issues very fast.
