Anytime a base subscription changes (Prospect, Engage, Covert), whether it is an upgrade or a downgrade, the system will reset your billing date to the date the change was made. Standard proration will kick in, crediting or charging your account accordingly, and resetting your Uptics Usage Credits. Your next invoice will then be due one month from the date the changes were made due to the reset of your subscription and billing date.
To view the invoice that breaks down any prorated charges and changes to the subscription, you can access this from your billing page. From the billing page, you will find links to view and download your invoices by expanding the 'Billing History' section.
The invoice from your upgrade or downgrade will specify the credit from any unused remaining time on your recent subscription, as well as the charge for your new subscription choice. You will also receive an email with the invoice after the change is made, sent to the email on file inside Stripe.
If extra contacts, inboxes, or users are added to your account (on top of your current account limits and tiers), you will incur charges as well. Although these additions will not reset your subscription and billing date, they will charge a prorated amount based on how much time is left on your current subscription.
For example, if you are on the 10 Email Inbox Tier, and proceed to add 2 more inboxes, your subscription will be moved up to the 15 Inbox Tier and show 12/15 Connected Inboxes on the Usage-Based meter. In this example, because you would have already paid for the 10 Email Inbox Tier and you moved up to the 15 Email Inbox Tier for $30 more a month, if you are exactly halfway through the month on your subscription Uptics would charge $15 to cover the remaining time for the rest of the month. In this scenario, $30 would be added to your monthly subscription moving forward on your next monthly invoice, based on the increase of $30 from the 10 Email Inbox Tier ($69/mo) to the 15 Email Inbox Tier ($99/mo).
For more details about your existing account limits please visit the billing page and review these under the 'Current Usage' section. Here you will be able to see your current limits for both your inboxes and users.
